Ex-member of Blowzabella Ian Luff sadly died on Monday 27th February 2017.   He had several years of bad health but it has been a terrible shock for everyone. Known for his assertive, rhythmic and imaginative cittern and bass guitar playing he also wrote some classic tunes which are played by bands and in sessions in many countries – Willow Runnel, Go Mauve ….  We  will be celebrating his life and music on Saturday 25 March at Bath Community Academy, Bath. We are doing two BLOWZABELLA DAY events –  Holmfirth (England) 29 April  DETAILS   and Copenhagen (Denmark) 9 September – more info soon.

We are only doing a few gigs in 2017 but we are hard at work making a new album to be released in early 2018.

2018 is Blowzabella’s 40th anniversary. We’ll be celebrating by enjoying the moment and looking to the future with an album of new material, our own mini-festival, and gigs and festival appearances in the UK and Europe.
