The Diggers is a rondeau or slow jig (6/8 time) composed by Paul James. The tune in the middle, Cotillon, is from the William Vickers manuscript c.1770 and can still be heard as an Avant-deux dance in Poitou, France and in Wallonie, Belgium. Arranged by Blowzabella.
